About Me
My Credentials
I am a recent graduate from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley currently working full time as an analyst at Deloitte. In this role, I’ve served clients in Cyber Security, Media, Finance, Infrastructure, and Financial Inclusion. At Deloitte, I am currently focusing on internal and external initiatives that prioritize human connection and storytelling. I am a former Associate Banker for JP Morgan Chase, Strategy Intern for eTip.io, and former co-host of the Disagree to Agree Podcast. At Berkeley, I served as the Capital Management Director for the Berkeley Debate Society and Berkeley Formula Racing Business Lead. Overall, my mission is to leverage my passion for storytelling to further social equity through all media by becoming a jack-of-all-trades, hopefully mastering some along the way.
Now that we got that out of the way…
I like to think of myself as a storyteller above all else. I don't limit myself to just one medium; I enjoy working with different forms of expression that can really tap into people's emotions. My passion for design stems from the belief that it's the ultimate tool for telling impactful stories about our shared human experiences. Because it touches every aspect of life, I find it freeing to simply call everything I do 'design.' The key to great design is understanding empathy. I truly believe that empathy is the key to creating a better, equitable future.
What it means to be a polymath
Industry often leans heavily into specialization, and I think this can stifle innovation and creativity. Take, for instance, the term 'Jazz.' It was coined to describe a unique African American musical tradition that blends improvisation, African rhythms, and Western harmony. But this label also brings with it certain criteria and expectations, dictating what does or doesn't qualify as jazz. That's why Duke Ellington, one of the genre's most influential innovators, rejected this label. Instead, he chose to describe his work as 'beyond category.' Like Ellington, this liberating idea encourages thought leaders to break from the artificial boundaries of their craft and explore new horizons.
I want to complete all the side quests in life. I like to lean into my curiosity. Beyond developing a concerning addiction to Wikipedia, my journey through polymathy has led me to study everything from the ethnomusical context to Oaxaca’s complicated relationship with its indigenous past, to the design and manufacture of a single-seater open-wheel racecar. I am currently designing an experience using Specialty Coffee as a medium for human connection. I am also exploring analog photography as a learning device for cinematography.

There are seven verb paradigms or speech levels in Korean, and each level has its own unique set of verb endings which are used to indicate the level of formality of a situation. Unlike honorifics – which are used to show respect towards someone mentioned in a sentence – speech levels are used to show respect towards a speaker's or writer's audience, or reflect the formality or informality of the situation. They represent a system of honorifics in the linguistic use of the term as a grammar system, distinct from honorific titles. See more

The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, shortened to EPCOT or E.P.C.O.T., is an unfinished concept for a planned community, intended to sit on a massive swath of undeveloped land near Orlando, Florida, that was developed by Walt Disney in collaboration with the designers at Walt Disney Imagineering in the 1960s. Based on ideas stemming from modernism and futurism, and inspired by architectural literature about city planning, Disney intended EPCOT to be a utopian autocratic company town. See more

In classical logic, intuitionistic logic and similar logical systems, the principle of explosion, or the principle of Pseudo-Scotus, is the law according to which any statement can be proven from a contradiction. That is, once a contradiction has been asserted, any proposition (including their negations) can be inferred from it; this is known as deductive explosion. See more
